Welcome to PrettyIRC's WebSite. PrettyIRC is an IRC client written in C and C++. It's meant to work in linux operating systems, but it might work on other systems as well. It's still in pre-alpha status, most of the interface has not yet been written.

If you want to contact the PrettyIRC developers for any question or help just connect to an UnderNet Server (/server irc.undernet.org) and go to channel #PrettyIRC ( /join #PrettyIRC ).

If you want to contribute to this project you are more than welcome. We're right now looking for C++ programmers to help us make this client better improving memory management. More than anything you'll need to know C++ of course (which of course should include object-oriented programming) and CSockets (that's what we're using right now. New ideas are welcome too. This is an open source project hosted by Source Forge which we want to thank for hosting the project.
